Jesus said "I am the gate, whoever enters through me will be saved." John 10:9
Welcome to Gateway!

We know it can be uncomfortable to visit a church for the first time, so we’d like to put you as much at ease as possible. Each of us at Gateway has been new at one point and we’ve asked the questions you’re probably asking, so here are some answers to help you know what to expect when you visit for the first time.

How do I get to the church?

We meet at Black Horse Golf Center in White Hall in Harford County, very close to the intersection of Norrisville Road (Rt. 23) and Troyer Road. Click here for a map.

What time should I get there?

Our service begins at 10:30am on Sunday mornings. Feel free to come a little early if you’d like a cup of coffee before service begins.

Where do I park?

We have plenty of parking right next to our building, so choose whatever spot you like.

What do I wear?

You will see mostly casual to business casual at our services. You might even see a few football jerseys on "gameday". We believe that God cares more about how we look on the inside, and so we invite you to dress comfortably and focus on worship rather than clothing.

What’s available for my kids?

We have childcare and children’s Sunday school available during the worship service for children up through 5th grade. We welcome young people from 6th grade through high school age to our Middle/High School class which meets from 9:30 to 10:15 AM.

What’s the service like?

Our services feature contemporary music which focuses on worship and our messages are Christ-centered and Scripture-based. After the service, we have a time of refreshments and fellowship and you are welcome to join us.

What about the offering?

Please let the plate go by and just be our guest. As members of Gateway, we give joyfully out of worship and gratitude to God and to support the ongoing work of the church, but we don’t want our visitors to feel any obligation to make an offering.
