Our Commitment to Fellowship and Discipleship

The Church is meant to function as a dynamic community of believers who are committed to God and to each other for the sake of growing in Christ, advancing the Gospel and being a blessing to each and the world.

Get-Togethers

Monthly, from May through October, we have Gateway Get-Togethers right after the service, for all ages. The church provides hamburgers, hot dogs and grilled chicken with all the fixings, as well as beverages. Those who attend are asked to bring a side dish or dessert. It is a time for fellowship and good eating. When the weather is good, we set up a moon bounce and have outdoor activities, such as soccer, volleyball or football. When it’s cold or raining, we have indoor activities, such as board and computer games.

Many Joys of Christmas

In mid-December, we hold our unique Many Joys of Christmas, where we get together to wrap gifts that our members have bought to be taken to families we support in the local area through Mason-Dixon Community Services. We enjoy this time of service and celebration in the midst of the busy holiday season.

Care and Concern

A ministry to the people of Gateway by the people of Gateway.

We all encounter circumstances that interrupt routines and make life harder. Hospitalizations, injuries and new babies are some of the circumstances that shake things up. That’s when Care & Concern can help by providing meals to the family, which in addition to sustenance, is the blessing of one less thing to think about. We also have a unique ministry, the New Baby Project, which we use to bless families with newborns.

Fellowship and Discipleship Groups

Community, Women’s and Men’s Groups meet regularly to explore and learn God’s truth while developing lasting friendships fostering spiritual growth and support.
